| There is a Zoo (Zoo Park) in Moscow, located very close to the city centre. It is a very popular tourist destination for both foreign and Russian tourists visiting Moscow. The Zoo is not that far from the US Embassy - though the Zoo has been where it is since 1864, so we are sure that that is just pure coincidence. There are two websites for the Moscow Zoo - the old website is www.zoo.ru/moscow/defengl.htm (for the English version) but this website is outdated and has not been updated for some time (and has a message telling you - in Russian, to go to the new website). The new website is excellent and is located at www.moscowzoo.ru, however it is currently only available in the Russian language version, so the old website is useful for finding some basic information in English, if you need to. |
