Can I use my ATM card in Moscow
The ATM (called Bankomat in Russia) network throughout Moscow is very extensive and very easy to use.  Most Banks in Moscow have an ATM network and the major banks have many hundreds of them located throughout Russia.  The ATMs will normally accept all cards that are Visa Card or MasterCard badged (credit or debit cards) and most will accept Cirrus and Maestro badged cards (debit cards).  ATM machines will almost universally provide you with language options (at least Russian and English) and they will almost universally issue both Rubles and USD, with some also issuing Euro.  If you have difficulty with an ATM, the ATM's provided by Citibank, Raiffeisen and Sberbank provide excellent service and will usually link to any international banking card network.  Some foreign debit cards however, may have a daily limit that can be withdrawn from them.
