| There are many chemist or pharmacies located all over Moscow. They range from small local chemist to large nationwide chains (36.6 is one such chain). The general word for a chemist is "Apteka". Their signs are usually green and often with a medical symbol (36.6 has green as its corporate colour scheme). The larger chemists are equipped very much like Western chemists, offering beauty products, alternative medicine products, childrens products, hair products and all the "health and beauty" range. Smaller chemists may only provide the basic additional extras such as health supplements. |
